5.2 Claims Corrections profile

When a CDM Statement created in accordance with the Claims Corrections profile is sent to a licensee before a DSR Message has been received by the licensor from a licensee, the Records shall be communicated in the order set out below. Such a CDM Statement may also be sent subsequent to the communication by the licensor to the licensee of a CDM Statement created in accordance with the Claims profile:

  1. One CDMH.01 Record;

  2. One or more summary Records of type CS03.01;

  3. None, one or more Blocks that contain the following Records:

    1. One Record of type CR02. This Record provides data describing:

      1. The resource for which sales and/or usage data was provided in the DSR Message received by the licensor to which the CDM Statement is a response;

      2. The musical work used in the resource;

      3. The claims being made by the licensor in respect of the musical work for a specific right, including territory and claim period, as well as data about the sales context;
        Where the claim is a correction of a previous claim, the Record also includes:

        1. Data describing the claim as originally communicated;

        2. Data describing the claim as corrected; and

        3. Data describing the difference between the original claim and the corrected claim; and

    2. 0-n auxiliary date Records of type CX01 which can be used to provide further details on the preceding CR02 Record; and

  4. One SRFO Record.

 

The Record types are defined in detail provided in Part 2 of the CDM standard.

To indicate that a CDM Statement is created in accordance with Claims Corrections profile, the ProfileCell in the CDMH Record shall be set to ClaimsCorrections and the ProfileVersion Cell to 2.0.
